This spring, the "Champions" from Samuel Walker Houston Elementary are making history! The school was recently given the 2025–2026 MTSS Momentum Award for doing a great job of promoting good behavior. The campus also honored its Student Council for its great leadership at recent Board of Trustees meetings. Principal Eric Burns is encouraging a "Building Champions" spirit at the school through hands-on STEM projects and the upcoming spring literacy parade.
