A major highlight of Lakeland El is that Narocka Bolden, a teacher from Lakeland Elementary, was selected among the Top 10 finalists for Humble ISD’s 2026–2027 District Teacher of the Year. This is a prestigious recognition across the entire district and reflects the strong quality of teaching at the school.
