Woodview Elementary is happy to announce that Emily Lister is the 2025 Campus Teacher of the Year for her hard work to help students learn. The school recently took part in the district's "Character Without Question" honors, which honor students who are honest and good leaders. The campus is also holding "Parent U" sessions to help families learn how to help their kids do well in a 21st-century classroom.
Q1. How does Woodview El honor teachers like Emily Lister who go above and beyond to help students learn?
Ans. We honor our most important teachers as "Campus Teacher of the Year" to recognize their creativity and the good things they do every day.
Q2. Does Woodview El offer any special workshops for parents to help them learn how to use 21st-century classroom tools?
Ans. Our "Parent U" sessions give families hands-on training on the digital platforms and tech tools their kids use every day.
Q3. What kinds of "Character Without Question" awards have Woodview El students recently gotten from the district?
Ans. We honor students who show great integrity and leadership, which shows that our school values heart just as much as grades.
Q4. How does the student council at Woodview El make sure that every student has a say in how the campus is planned?
Ans. Every month, our elected student leaders meet with the principal to talk about ways to make the school better and plan spirit events.
Q5. Do any of the student-led clubs at Woodview El focus on gardening or protecting the environment?
Ans. Our "Green Wildcats" club runs recycling programs on campus and takes care of the school garden to teach kids how to take care of nature.
