1. What are the hours of the school and early pick up policy?

Ans: The office hours are 7.30 AM-3; 30 PM. The school day begins at 7:30 in the morning and the school concludes at 3:00 in the afternoon. Pickup before 2:15 PM is possible only in case of early pickup.


2. What is the way of communicating school announcements to parents?

Ans: The WUES Mustang News is also open to parents in that they can subscribe to it to be updated with important announcements.


3. Can parents escorts students to the classroom?

Ans: Well yes, but only during the first days of school. Then, drop-off and pick-up regulations should be followed by parents.


4. How does the school perform on state tests?

Ans: West University Elementary shows one of the highest ratings in the school district on fifth-grade STAAR tests, including math and science.


5. What are the procedures to be followed in registration by the families, or eligibility to attend?.

Ans: To verify their home address, the families should ensure that they are in attendance zone of the school and register via the internet-based system maintained by district.
