Valley Oaks Elementary School said that Karoline Ellis was named the 2025 Campus Teacher of the Year because she cares so much about doing a good job. The school's Odyssey of the Mind team recently moved on to the state level after doing very well and showing determination and creative problem-solving. The campus is on track to reach its high goals for "Early Numeracy" by June 2026. These goals will help kids in grades K–2 do well in basic math.

Ans. Our students are in charge of a "Green Team" that runs recycling on campus and takes care of our beautiful butterfly garden on a regular basis.

A. We have an active Odyssey of the Mind program where students work together to solve hard, creative engineering problems.

Ans. Teachers hold "Early Numeracy" workshops to help kids feel good about math and make sure that every student has a strong foundation before they start third grade.

Ans. Yes, our fine arts department puts on seasonal concerts and a spring musical that students can both act in and help make.
