Thompson Elementary School (Aldine ISD) is honoring the hard work of its students and staff in making the school a safe and fun place to learn. The campus recently held a "Literacy Carnival" to get kids excited about reading by giving away free books and having fun, interactive games. Upgrades to facilities across the district have also helped the school by making some of its classrooms more modern.
Q1. How does the "Literacy Carnival" at Thompson El (Aldine ISD) make reading more exciting for the students?
Ans. We use fun games and free book giveaways to show our students that reading is a truly enjoyable daily activity.

Ans. Several classrooms have been modernized with flexible furniture and new interactive displays to foster a more collaborative learning environment.

Ans. We provide "Math Power Hours" after school where students get targeted support and extra practice to build their skills.

Ans. We host multicultural nights where families share their food and traditions, helping us build a more inclusive campus community.
