Being Updated
The Stephanie Cravens Early Childhood Academy is still a good example of how to teach young children because it focuses on giving them a strong social and academic base. The campus recently held an event called "Ready, Set, Learn" to help new families get used to the idea of sending their kids to school. People have also praised the staff for their specialized training in early childhood development, which helps them better support the health of their students.
Q1. How does Stephanie Cravens Early Childhood get its youngest students ready to move to a full elementary school?
Ans. We have "Move-Up" days when students go to their future campuses to get used to being in a bigger school with more students and routines.
Q2. Does Stephanie Cravens Early Childhood have a sensory room just for students who need some quiet time?
Ans. We have a special sensory space on campus where students can do calming activities to help them deal with their feelings and get back on track.
Q3. What kinds of play-based learning centers does Stephanie Cravens Early Childhood use to help kids learn how to get along with others?
Ans. There are dramatic play and building centers in classrooms that help kids work together, share, and figure things out.
Q4. Do Stephanie Cravens Early Childhood's library hours for "Parent and Me" happen during the school week?
Ans. We invite parents to come to the library on Friday mornings to listen to stories and check out books to read at home.
Q5. How does the nurse at Stephanie Cravens Early Childhood help families with long-term medical needs like asthma?
Ans. Our full-time nurse works with parents to make personalized care plans and makes sure that all medications are safely handled on-site.
