The Southwest Schools Mangum Elementary Campus started the school year with a fun convocation with a Mardi Gras theme to honor students' academic and cultural achievements. The school also took part in the first-ever Region 4 ESC Spanish Spelling Bee. This was a big step forward for bilingual education. The Marvy Finger Family Foundation also recently chose the district for a well-known scholarship program that will help students do well in the future.
