The "Every Day Counts" attendance campaign at Sneed Elementary in Alief ISD has set a new record for how many students come to school every day. The school also had a big "Math and Science Night" where kids could show their families how good they were at solving problems by playing games with them.

Ans. We offer a strong transitional bilingual program that helps students become fluent in both English and Spanish.

Q2. How does Sneed El make sure that students with certain food allergies or dietary restrictions get the right food?

Ans. The cafeteria staff works closely with the school nurse to make sure that students with documented allergies can get the meals they need.

Q3. Are there any student-led environmental projects going on at Sneed El right now, like composting?

Ans. The "Green Tigers" club members take care of our campus composting bins and teach their classmates how to cut down on food waste.

Q4. Does Sneed El offer any "Parent University" classes to help families use the district's online learning tools?

Ans. We hold workshops every month to help parents learn how to use the different apps and portals that students use for homework and grades.

Ans. The PE department puts on a "Fitness Gram" every year and a number of seasonal fun runs to keep our students active.
