Sheldon Lake Elementary School recently won the "Excellence in Innovation" award for the creative science fair projects that students led that dealt with environmental issues in their area. The "Cougar Leadership" program on campus is going strong. This semester, more students than ever are taking part in peer mentoring and community service projects.

Ans. Because we are so close to the lake, we can do field studies outside where students look at local animals and test the water quality.

Q2. How does Sheldon Lake El fix and give out student laptops for the school year 2025–2026?

Ans. Students can get help with resetting passwords or fixing hardware right away in our on-site "Tech Den" during school hours.

Q3. Are there any awards at Sheldon Lake El that honor qualities like "Integrity" or "Empathy"?

Ans. Every month, we have a "Leadership Assembly" to honor students who have consistently shown our campus's core values in their actions.

Q4. Does Sheldon Lake El have any special "Stem for Girls" clubs to get more girls interested in science careers?

Ans. We get together once a week in our "Girls in Gear" club to work on coding projects and listen to women talk about their jobs in STEM fields.
