Being Updated
Brittany McAnally, who is the 2025 Campus Teacher of the Year at Rummel Creek Elementary, was honored. People want to buy homes in the area because the school has a great academic reputation. The school is currently working on its "Campus Improvement Plan," which includes things for students to do so that at least 98% of them are present by June 2026.
Q1. What does Rummel Creek El do every day to make sure that students are safe when they drop off and pick up?
Ans. The campus has a staggered car-rider system and crossing guards who only help kids cross the street to keep them safe on their way to and from school.
Q2. Are there any student-led clubs at Rummel Creek El that focus on gardening or protecting the environment?
Ans. Students can join the Eco-Club, which takes care of the school gardens and leads recycling efforts on campus all year long.
Q3. Does Rummel Creek El offer any special help to students who are moving from other school districts?
Ans. To help new families and students make friends and get used to our campus routines, our counselor hosts "Newcomer Socials."
Q4. What kinds of healthy lunch options are there right now in the Rummel Creek El cafeteria?
Ans. We make sure our students eat healthy and balanced meals by giving them fresh salad bars and fruit from nearby farms every day.
Q5. Can parents help out at the Rummel Creek El library or with reading programs that are going on all over campus during the day?
Ans. Yes, we strongly encourage parents to sign up for library shifts or come to our classrooms as guest readers.
