Red El is still one of the best STEM schools. In April of this year, its student engineering teams won a lot of competitions across the city. The school is celebrating being one of Houston's best magnet schools, where students quickly learn how to use computers and get better at math. Families are now taking "STEM Tours" of the campus to learn more about the school's unique 2026 curriculum and creative labs.
