Ray Daily El's mid-year reading tests are going better than they have in a long time. This shows that the district's changes to how it teaches in 2026 are working. To honor the different cultures and backgrounds of its students, the school recently held a "World Culture Fair." Principal Ruben Pineda is still working hard to improve the school's performance rating by putting safety and good teaching first.
