Petrosky El was recently named a "Campus of Distinction" by Alief ISD because it has a good school culture and encourages students to do their best in school. The school's annual "Cultural Heritage Night" had the most people ever. Students brought food and traditions from their own cultures. Right now, staff members are signing up students for the 2026–2027 school year. This is part of their goal to give every young person a lot of choices for the future.
