Northgate El just gave out awards to its "Northgate Navigators" for doing well in the regional spelling bee and other academic contests for elementary school students. The school wants to have great students by 2026, so they are making the curriculum hard and the atmosphere friendly. Parents are using the new registration sites to make sure their child gets a spot in school next year.
Q1. Is there a specific mascot for Northgate El? What is its name?
Ans. The Northgate El mascot is the Navigator, and students are told to "Navigate toward Success" in their daily lessons.
Q2. What special chances to lead are there at Northgate El?
Ans. Every week, Northgate El has "Leadership Circles" where students work on their public speaking and problem-solving skills with their classmates.
Q3. Does Northgate El have a science program that lets kids get their hands dirty?
Ans. Yes, Northgate El has a hands-on science lab where students do experiments every week that meet state learning standards.
Q4. How does Northgate El deal with students using technology?
Ans. Northgate El includes technology rotations in the main curriculum to get students ready for a world that is becoming more digital and competitive.
Q5. Are there creative things to do at Northgate El, like choir?
Ans. Northgate El has a lively fine arts program that includes choir and visual arts. This helps students build their core skills and express themselves creatively.
