Looscan El is pleased with how well the New Education System model is working. It has given teachers at all levels more things to use. The school is focused on core academic growth, and data from 2026 shows that students are steadily reaching their literacy goals. As the school gets ready for registration for the next school year, parents say they feel safe and like they are part of a strong community.
Q1. Does Looscan El have a "Positive Behavior" system for the whole school?
Ans. Looscan El has a "Bucks" system where students earn campus money for good behavior that they can use to buy things at the store.
Q2. What is the name of the school mascot for Looscan El?
Ans. The Lion is the Looscan El mascot. It stands for the students' bravery to lead and do well in their schoolwork.
Q3. Does Looscan El have a program called "Home Visit" for new families?
Ans. Before school starts, Looscan El teachers go to students' homes on their own time to get to know their families better.
Q4. What special clubs can students join at Looscan El?
Ans. Looscan El has a "Cooking Club" and a "Gardening Club" to help students learn about nutrition and useful life skills.
Q5. What does Looscan El do to celebrate when students reach certain attendance goals?
Ans. Looscan El throws pizza parties and awards ceremonies every nine weeks to encourage students to show up every day.
