As part of Alief ISD's ongoing efforts to improve academic performance, Landis El is currently celebrating the achievements of its diverse student body and staff. The school is currently signing up new students for the next school year, which shows how dedicated it is to success and high standards. There have been some good things happen lately, like events where everyone in the community comes together and prizes for students who do well in core subjects.
Q1. Does Landis El have a science lab just for elementary school kids?
Ans. Yes, every week Landis El students go to the campus science lab to do hands-on experiments that are in line with state standards for what they should learn.
Q2. What is the Landis El school mascot?
Ans. The Landis El mascot is the Leopard, which stands for how fast and accurate the students are in their schoolwork and sports.
Q3. Does Landis El have sports programs after school?
Ans. Landis El has a number of after-school sports clubs, such as soccer and basketball, to help students work together and stay active.
Q4. How does Landis El honor the different cultures on campus?
Ans. Landis El has a "Heritage Night" every year where families bring food, music, and customs from their different parts of the world.
Q5. Does Landis El have a policy about clear bags for people who come to campus?
Ans. Landis El requires all visitors to use clear bags when they come into the building, as required by Alief ISD safety rules.
