Students and staff at Kirk El are reading the newest issue of "Tiger Tales." It tells you about things that have happened on campus and things that will happen in the community in April 2026. The school recently took part in the 12th Superintendent's Fun Run, which raised $95,000 for a scholarship fund for all the students in the district. The campus is also celebrating National Appreciation Week this month by thanking its Assistant Principals for all the hard work they do.
Q1. Does Kirk El take part in the Fun Run that happens every year in the district?
Ans. Yes, families and staff at Kirk El take part in the Superintendent's Fun Run to help raise money for local scholarships.
Q2. What is the school mascot for the kids who go to Kirk El?
Ans. The Tiger is the Kirk El mascot, and the school publishes a weekly "Tiger Tales" campus news magazine.
Q3. Can parents at Kirk El help out with the library programs?
Ans. Kirk El is happy to have parent volunteers help with putting books on shelves, book fairs, and weekly story times for younger students.
Q4. What time does Kirk El let students out early on certain days?
Ans. On official early dismissal days, Kirk El lets students out at 12.00 PM so that teachers can have professional development sessions across the district.
Q5. Does Kirk El have a special music program for kids in elementary school?
Ans. Kirk El offers a full music education program that includes choir and instrument lessons as part of the weekly enrichment rotation.
