Recently, Hill Elementary honored its "Teacher of the Year" for doing a great job of making the classroom a friendly and motivating place to learn. The campus was happy to see that the new targeted reading program had helped a lot of students become better readers. Family involvement is still very important. The whole community had a great time at the school's recent fall festival.

Ans. Hill El focuses on "Pathways to Success," which helps students figure out their strengths and career interests early on.
Q2. Is there a special area at Hill El for doing science and engineering projects?
Ans. Hill El has a modern "Innovation Lab" where students work together on engineering design problems and come up with creative ways to solve them.
Q3. What kinds of systems are in place at Hill El to help kids with their social and emotional needs?
Ans. Hill El uses a "Character Counts" framework to teach students six pillars of character through daily lessons and praise.
Q4. Do native speakers at Hill El have access to any language enrichment programs?
Ans. Hill El has a Spanish enrichment program for students who want to improve their basic conversation skills and learn more about the culture.
Q5. How does Hill El get students involved in making decisions and leading on campus?
Ans. Hill El has a Student Council that meets regularly to plan events and community service projects for the whole school.
