People still talk about how well Escamilla Elementary is doing in school and how dedicated it is to making the school a safe and welcoming place to learn. The school recently held a few family math and literacy nights to give parents ideas on how to help their kids learn at home. The school will continue to do well in education as long as it focuses on high-quality teaching and helping each student individually.
Q1. What are the official colors of the uniforms for students at Escamilla Elementary?
Ans. Every day, students must wear a white, teal, or orange shirt with khaki or navy blue pants.
Q2. What is the official school mascot for the Escamilla Elementary School students?
Ans. The Bulldog is the school's mascot and stands for the pride and determination of all the students who are learning.
Q3. Does Escamilla Elementary have a petting zoo for its students every year?
Ans. Every January, the campus has a petting zoo where students can touch and play with animals like pelts and birds to raise money for a good cause.
Q4. Do students at Escamilla Elementary have to wear certain shoes for PE?
Ans. To stay safe during all gym activities and outdoor play times, students must wear sneakers or closed-toe shoes.
Q5. Is there a special program at Escamilla Elementary to honor a student of the month?
Ans. Every month, the school honors its students by naming a "Student of the Month" for each classroom. This is a way to show how they are growing in both their academics and their character.
