The staff and campus leaders at Ermel Elementary were recently honored for their dedication to helping students succeed in the 2025–2026 school year. The school is still a busy community center that hosts events to show off students' talents and get parents involved. The leaders of the school are still dedicated to making sure that every child has the resources and support they need to succeed in the long run.
Q1. Is there an after-school program for kids at Ermel Elementary?
Ans. The YMCA runs an after-school program on campus that gives students a safe place to get extra help with schoolwork and other activities.
Q2. What is the official mascot for the students at Ermel Elementary?
Ans. The Eagle is the official mascot, and it stands for vision and strength for all students.
Q3. Does Ermel Elementary have a special project for the kitchen or school garden?
Ans. Students work on a culinary garden project where they learn about nutrition, gardening, and how to live a healthy life.
Q4. Is there a pilot program for extra days at Ermel Elementary right now?
Ans. The school is part of the Additional Days School Year (ADSY) program, which adds thirty extra days to the regular school year.
Q5. How can parents find out where their child is on the bus at Ermel Elementary?
Ans. Families can see where buses are in real time through the district's secure Home Access Center or certain transportation apps.
