Being Updated
The district recently named Cimarron Elementary a "Top Performing School" because their state test scores went up a lot. "Popsicles with the Principal" events at school help families get to know each other and make the community stronger. Students who learn a lot about social and emotional issues do better in school and in their personal lives.
Q1. Does Cimarron Elementary have a special program for gifted and talented students?
Ans. The school has a GT program that gives students who qualify access to a more advanced curriculum and more advanced learning opportunities.
Q2. What is the official school mascot for students at Cimarron Elementary?
Ans. The Mustang is the official mascot, and it makes students feel proud of their school and their community.
Q3. Does Cimarron Elementary have a computer lab just for students?
Ans. Yes, there is a modern computer lab on campus where students learn important digital literacy and keyboarding skills every week.
Q4. Do students at Cimarron Elementary have to use backpacks that are clear or mesh?
Ans. At this time, students can use regular backpacks because the district does not require clear bags.
Q5. Does Cimarron Elementary School provide bus service for all students who are eligible?
Ans. Students who live more than two miles from the school within district residential boundaries can get rides to and from school.
