People still send their kids to Brookwood Elementary (Clear Creek ISD) because it's a nice place to be and the kids do well on tests. The school just started a new program to help kids get along and be strong. Parents and teachers work together to make sure that every student at school feels safe and welcome.
Q1. Are there any special orchestra or band programs at Brookwood Elementary?
Ans. Fifth graders can join the campus band or orchestra and get special music lessons twice a week.
Q2. What is the official school mascot for Brookwood Elementary School?
Ans. The Bear is the Brookwood mascot. It stands for a strong, brave, and dedicated community that wants to do well in school.
Q3. Does Brookwood Elementary School have any science or engineering fairs every year?
Ans. Every year, the school has a Science and Engineering Fair where students show off their new research and creative design work.
Q4. Does Brookwood Elementary use any specific programs to teach character?
Ans. The Character Counts program teaches students about being trustworthy, respectful, responsible, and a good citizen on campus.
Q5. Do all of the students at Brookwood Elementary get to school by bus?
Ans. Students who live more than two miles from school within district residential boundaries can get a ride to and from school.
