Several teams of students from Black Elementary have won awards in regional coding and technology competitions this year. This is a big deal for the school. This school is friendly and helpful, and it encourages each child to follow their own interests and talents. Dedicated staff members are focused on a mission of excellence, making sure that students are ready for their future educational journeys.

Ans. The Texas Art Education Association named Black El as a 2025 District of Distinction.
Q2. Is there an annual science fair at Black El for kids in grades 3 through 5?
Ans. Black El has a Science and Engineering Fair every year where students show off their original research and creative ways to solve problems.
Q3. What kinds of counseling services are there to help Black El students with their social and emotional health?
Ans. Black El has full-time counselors who help people one-on-one, in groups, and in the classroom learn about emotional intelligence.
Q4. Does Black El have any clubs for students who are interested in gardening or the environment?
Ans. Black El has an environmental club where students learn about sustainability by working in the school garden.
Q5. What kinds of technology do Black El students have access to that they can use to do their homework?
Ans. Black El gives each student their own Chromebook so they can do digital learning, research projects, and use interactive educational software.
