Birkes Elementary is proud to be a good school where students always do better than the district average on state tests. The school just started a "Junior Scientist" program to get kids interested in chemistry and physics by letting them do safe experiments in the classroom. The school keeps the community involved by making sure the environment is safe and fun. This encourages people to keep learning throughout their lives.
