Bell Elementary is celebrating the successful switch to a new way of teaching that focuses on rotating small groups and giving each student personalized help. The school recently held a "Family Math Night" where parents and kids played fun, logical games to help them feel better about math. Teachers still want to make sure that every child can reach their full potential in a safe and welcoming environment.
Q1. Has the state recently recognized the Bell El fine arts department for its high-quality teaching?
Ans. The Texas Art Education Association named Bell El as one of the 2025 Districts of Distinction.
Q2. Does Bell El put on a science fair every year for kids in grades three through five?
Ans. Bell El has a Science and Engineering Fair every year where students show off their original research and creative ways to solve problems.
Q3. What kinds of counseling services are there to help Bell El students with their social and emotional health?
Ans. Bell El has full-time counselors who help students one-on-one, in groups, and in the classroom learn about emotional intelligence.
Q4. Are there any clubs at Bell El for students who like to garden or care about the environment?
Ans. At Bell El, there is an environmental club where students learn about sustainability by working in the school garden.
Q5. What kinds of technology do Bell El students have access to for their daily schoolwork?
Ans. Bell El gives each student their own Chromebook to help them learn online, do research projects, and use interactive educational software.
