Bear Creek El recently won the "Character Plus" award for doing a great job of promoting respect and kindness on campus. The school is throwing a party to celebrate the end of its new playground project, which was supposed to help all the kids get fit and make friends. The leaders of the school are committed to giving each child the best education possible, one that respects how each child learns and grows.
Q1. What extra academic help and opportunities are available after school for students who are already enrolled at Bear Creek El?
Ans. Bear Creek El has the Project S.A.F.E. program, which helps kids with their homework, gives them extra help, and offers activities outside of school for kids in Pre-K through fifth grade.
Q2. Does Bear Creek El have a special music or strings program for kids in upper elementary school?
Ans. Bear Creek El has a full music program for fourth and fifth graders, with choir and instrumental options.
Q3. What safety measures are in place for people who want to visit Bear Creek El?
Ans. All visitors to Bear Creek El must show valid ID and check in using the Raptor electronic visitor system.
Q4. Does Bear Creek El have a separate STEM lab where students can do hands-on science experiments?
Ans. Bear Creek El has a special science lab where students do guided experiments and learn about STEM subjects in a hands-on way.
Q5. How does Bear Creek El tell parents about important school news and updates each week?
Ans. Bear Creek El sends out a digital newsletter and posts on social media every week to let families know about upcoming events.
