Attucks Middle School was celebrated for its community partnerships that provided new technology resources to students, fostering a more inclusive and high-tech learning environment for the 2025–2026 school year.
Q1. What new technology resources did Attucks Middle School get?
Ans. Houston businesses and community partners worked together to give each student a new laptop through a community drive.
Q2. How does Attucks Middle School help its students who don't have access to technology?
Answer. The school set up hotspots and internet access so that all students could take part in digital learning equally.
Q3. What special mentoring program is there for students at Attucks Middle School?
Ans. The "Attucks Achievers" program pairs students with adult mentors from community groups in the area to help them with their career choices.
Q4. How does Attucks Middle School make sure that parents' opinions are taken into account when making decisions?
Ans. The newly formed Campus Parent Advisory Council meets with the administration once a month to talk about student issues and the overall climate of the school.
Q5. What programs do Attucks Middle School use every day to encourage good behavior?
Ans. The school uses the PAWS positive reinforcement system to reward students who do well in school, work hard, and are good citizens.
