The Academy of Accelerated Learning's "Leader in Me" workshops are very popular this school year, which is good for the school. Recently, a community wellness fair was held on campus so that families in the area could learn about health resources and get involved. The leaders of the school are committed to keeping a culture of high performance that values each student's individual academic progress.
Q1. Does the Academy of Accelerated Learning provide any transportation services for students after school?
Ans. The school offers bus transportation to eligible students who live within certain mileage zones from the campus boundaries.
Q2. What are the rules for how students at the Academy of Accelerated Learning should dress?
Ans. Students must wear the standard dress code for the district, which usually includes polo shirts and slacks that are all one color.
Q3. What is the process for parents to volunteer for events at the Academy of Accelerated Learning?
Ans. Parents must complete a standard background check through the district portal before assisting with any classroom activities or field trips.
Q4. Does the Academy of Accelerated Learning offer a program for gifted and talented students?
Ans. Yes, every year students are screened for the GT program, which gives them special lessons and more difficult critical thinking problems.
Q5. How much do the meals at the Academy of Accelerated Learning's cafeteria cost?
Ans. The prices of meals now follow federal rules, but a lot of students can get free or low-cost breakfast and lunch.
