Frost Elementary held a big opening ceremony for its new campus at 3407 Northwest Blvd. at the start of the 2025–2026 school year. This updated building, which used to be a middle school, effectively doubled the school's capacity to serve about 850 students. Superintendent Devin Padavil said that the new building is an important investment in the community's teachers and future students.
Q1. Does Frost El have any programs for kids to stay at school before school starts?
Ans. Families who need to drop off their kids early before classes start can use the campus's supervised morning program.
Q2. What kinds of tech gadgets do students at Frost El have?
Ans. Every student gets their own device to help them learn digitally and do interactive classroom work every day.
Q3. Is there a garden or outdoor learning area at Frost El?
Ans. The school has a learning garden on site that is used for hands-on science lessons about biology and the life cycles of plants.
Q4. How does Frost El help students who have trouble reading or have dyslexia?
Ans. Reading teachers who are experts in their field help students improve their phonological and decoding skills by giving them targeted help and small-group support.
Q5. What are the rules for parents who want to have lunch with their kids at Frost El?
Ans. On certain days, parents can have lunch with their kids after checking in at the main office.
