Sparks Elementary School in Frisco, TX, has won the Frisco ISD Battery Recycle Drive for the second year, recycling 220 lbs of batteries—leading among 77 schools. Enrollment for the 2025–2026 school year is now open for new and returning students. Frisco ISD also approved district goals and a balanced budget, launched a school marshal program for safety, and reported strong Spring 2025 STAAR results. Superintendent Dr. Mike Waldrip was honored as Region 10’s Superintendent of the Year.
