The Windsong El has also received the "SurPrize Patrol" grant given by the Friendswood ISD Education Foundation in April 2026. Through this project, over $52,000 worth of legacy grants have been disbursed for innovative teaching projects. The purpose of giving these grants is to instill innovation in the process of teaching and learning while creating unique experiences for students.
