All of the students at Riverside Applied Learning Center will learn by doing this school year. The campus is still a unique educational choice in FWISD that promotes critical thinking because of its specialized curriculum. The people in charge of the administration are committed to keeping the area safe and open to new ideas.
Q1. Are there any special project-based learning opportunities at Riverside Applied Lrn Ctr?
Ans. The curriculum is based on experiential learning, where students use what they learn in class to work on real-world projects in the community and the environment.
Q2. What does the student council do at Riverside Applied Lrn Ctr?
Ans. Elected student representatives help plan events on campus and take part in leadership training modules that teach them about their civic duties.
Q3. Does Riverside Applied Lrn Ctr have a full-time librarian?
Ans. A certified media specialist is in charge of the library's collection and teaches weekly lessons on how to do research and be a good digital citizen.
Q4. How does Riverside Applied Lrn Ctr deal with bad behavior and discipline among students?
Ans. The school has a system for positive behavior support that rewards students for being safe, responsible, and respectful.
Q5. Does Riverside Applied Lrn Ctr put on any plays every year?
Ans. The fine arts department puts on a show every year that involves students from different grades in acting and stagecraft.
