Park Glen Elementary is found at 5100 Glen Canyon Road in the Keller ISD area. The campus serves 588 students in grades PK through 4 and has a student–teacher ratio of 13:1. State data indicates a math proficiency of 66% and a reading proficiency of 72%. There are 48% female students and 52% male students. The school climate is focused on academics and gives students a predictable structure. Leaders in the administration make sure that the environment is still good for learning and showing respect for each other. The school is a quiet and focused place for kids in the area to learn and grow. Early childhood programs focus on basic motor skills and getting kids ready to be social. The school has a writing program that teaches all of the students how to write stories and persuasive essays. Math classes focus on being able to do math in your head and use logic to solve real-world money problems. You can get extra help with reading comprehension and preparing for standardized tests after school. In this part of the city, homes cost between $320,000 and $460,000. Parents are sure that the school can help students stay on track with their basic reading and math skills. This is one of the best elementary schools in Texas.
