Ans. Identified students meet weekly with a specialized teacher to work on advanced research projects and creative thinking activities.
Q2. What are the procedures for rainy day dismissal at O.A. Peterson Elementary?
Ans. All students are dismissed through the main hallways to ensure they stay dry while waiting for their vehicles.
Q3. Does O.A. Peterson Elementary have a school mascot and school colors?
Ans. The school mascot is the Pilot, and students are encouraged to wear the school colors of navy and silver.
Q4. How can students join the O.A. Peterson Elementary student council?
Ans. Fourth and fifth-grade students can run for office or serve as classroom representatives to help plan school events.
Q5. Does O.A. Peterson Elementary provide a summer reading challenge?
Ans. The school librarian organizes a summer reading program with rewards for students who track their minutes during the break.
