Right now, M.H. Moore Elementary is putting in place new teaching programs to get every student excited about learning. The school community has come together to help students do well through a number of campus-wide programs. It is still committed to giving all FWISD students a high-quality education and a welcoming environment.
Q1. Does M.H. Moore Elementary have an after-school strings or orchestra program?
Ans. Students in the upper elementary grades can choose to participate in the campus-based beginner strings and orchestra classes.
Q2. What is the student birthday celebration policy at M.H. Moore Elementary?
Ans. Classroom celebrations must follow district nutritional guidelines and are typically scheduled during the last fifteen minutes of school.
Q3. How does M.H. Moore Elementary handle inclement weather dismissal for walkers?
Ans. Walkers are held in the cafeteria until a parent arrives or the weather clears for a safe departure.
Q4. Does M.H. Moore Elementary offer any STEM-specific clubs for students?
Ans. The school hosts a weekly science and engineering club where students build models and conduct creative experiments.
Q5. What are the library checkout limits at M.H. Moore Elementary?
Ans. Students may check out up to two books at a time for a period of two school weeks.
