On August 11, 2025, Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts (FWAFA) started its 2025–2026 school year and welcomed back its arts community. The Texas Art Education Association recently gave the school the Visual Arts Award for the second year in a row. This award honors the school's great work in teaching fine arts. Recent performance data shows that FWAFA is now in the top 17% of schools in the country.
