For the 2025–2026 school year, Elkins Elementary has put in place the "Bell to Bell, No Cell" policy, which means that students are not allowed to use their cell phones during the school day. There is a School-Based Health Center on campus that provides primary care services directly to students and their families. Families can now start making long-term plans because the school board just approved the 2026–2027 school year calendar.

Ans. The school has a system in place that rewards students for being responsible and respectful in all areas of the campus.

Ans. At the front office entrance, guests must show a valid ID and sign in through a secure electronic system.

Ans. The campus offers early childhood programming to help young students get ready for the move to a regular kindergarten classroom.
Q4. How does Elkins Elementary celebrate students' birthdays?
Ans. Teachers celebrate students' accomplishments by giving them special certificates or extra privileges in the classroom, which keeps everyone safe.
Q5. Does Elkins Elementary have safety drills for the whole school?
Ans. Every month, students and staff practice how to be ready for fires and other emergencies.
