For the 2025–2026 school year, Elkins Elementary has put in place the "Bell to Bell, No Cell" policy, which means that students are not allowed to use their cell phones during the school day. There is a School-Based Health Center on campus that provides primary care services directly to students and their families. Families can now start making long-term plans because the school board just approved the 2026–2027 school year calendar.
