Dozier Elementary just opened its "Maker Space," where kids can use robots and 3D printers to make their own things. The campus is also celebrating the success of "Read Across Dozier" month, when a lot more people checked out books from the library. These programs help create a community where people work together to learn new things and help students do well.
Q1. Does Dozier Elementary have a makerspace just for them?
Ans. The campus has a creative lab where students can use different materials and technologies to come up with new ideas and make things.
Q2. What time does Dozier Elementary School open?
Ans. The front office is usually open from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM on school days to help families and visitors.
Q3. Are there any STEM clubs at Dozier Elementary?
Ans. After school, students can join clubs that focus on science and technology, like robotics or coding.
Q4. How do Dozier Elementary School set up parent-teacher meetings?
Ans. There are two formal conferences each year, but parents can ask for more meetings with teachers to talk about how their child is doing.
Q5. Is there a program at Dozier Elementary that encourages all students to read?
Ans. The campus promotes literacy through a variety of challenges and reward programs that are meant to get people to love reading for the rest of their lives.
