David L. Walker Elementary is honoring its "Warrior of the Week" winners, who have become better citizens and leaders in the classroom. The campus recently held a successful family literacy night where families could get tools and go to workshops to help them read at home. These events keep making Crowley ISD a fun and safe place for families to be.
Q1. What do I need to do to let David L. Walker Elementary know that I won't be there?
Ans. Within three days of the student returning, parents should call the attendance office or send a signed note.
Q2. Is there a school mascot at David L. Walker Elementary?
Ans. The Warrior is the school's mascot, and it represents pride and hard work for all of the students.
Q3. How does David L. Walker Elementary use technology?
Ans. Students have access to digital devices and interactive software every day to help them learn more about the main academic subjects.
Q4. Does David L. Walker Elementary have art and music classes?
Ans. Fine arts classes that change every week give students a chance to learn about music and visual arts as ways to express themselves creatively.
Q5. Does David L. Walker Elementary have nights for families to get involved?
Ans. To get families involved in their children's learning, the school holds regular evening events like math and literacy nights.
