This spring, Carter Park Elementary is honoring its "Student of the Month" winners, who have made great progress in both their academic work and their leadership skills. The school has been working with local non-profits to give students more chances to learn and grow in the performing and visual arts. These partnerships are helping to create a space for students that values their differences and their own success.
