Burton Hill Elementary was recently recognized for having a strong campus culture and for running the "Better Together" community survey program well. The school is getting ready for its annual spring musical, which will have students from all grades performing and a lot of help from parents. These efforts help make the school a fun and friendly place, which is why so many Fort Worth families choose it.
Q1. Is there a school mascot at Burton Hill Elementary?
Ans. The Bulldog is the school's mascot, and it stands for school pride and community spirit for students.
Q2. How do you tell Burton Hill Elementary that a student is not there?
Ans. To make sure that all student absences are recorded, parents must call or write a note to the front office.
Q3. Does Burton Hill Elementary have programs for gifted and talented kids?
Ans. Students who have been identified receive different types of instruction that are meant to challenge their academic skills and help them think critically in the classroom.
Q4. What does Burton Hill Elementary do when the weather is bad?
Ans. When it's very hot or very rainy, students are moved to climate-controlled indoor areas for lunch and recess to keep them safe.
Q5. Does Burton Hill Elementary have school-wide fundraisers every year?
Ans. The school plans events like the Fun Run to raise money for technology in the classroom and fun activities for the whole campus.
