Atwood McDonald Elementary recently held a district-wide professional development session to show other Fort Worth schools how to use its successful literacy intervention strategies. Many students are now involved in the school's newly updated robotics and STEM clubs after school. At a breakfast not long ago, staff members were honored for their hard work to help students do well during the transition year from 2025 to 2026.

Ans. After school, students can join clubs that are based on their interests, like robotics, gardening, and art.
Q2. What are the exact safety rules at Atwood McDonald Elementary?
Ans. To keep all students safe, the campus has regular emergency drills and a secure entry system.
Q3. Is there a mascot for Atwood McDonald Elementary School?
Ans. The Eagle is the school mascot. It stands for pride and academic success for the students.
Q4. How do you let Atwood McDonald Elementary know when students are not there?
Ans. Parents must call the front office or send a note within three days to let them know if their child is going to be absent.
