Alice Carlson Applied Learning Center was named one of the top public elementary schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for 2026. The school is currently taking part in the Kids Heart Challenge 2025–2026 to raise awareness for the American Heart Association and encourage kids to be active. After a successful literacy tour that showed off the school's unique applied learning curriculum, students and staff are also getting ready to end the year on a high note.
