The Valentine Sneaker Ball at A.M. Pate Elementary School in February 2026 was a big hit. It was a community dance for students and their families. The school also honored its January Students of the Month by surprising them in class with cupcakes and certificates for being good citizens. Captain, the Texas Rangers' mascot, recently visited fifth-grade students to start a partnership that will let them go to the stadium later this spring.
