In recent times, the El Paso Independent School District announced the appointment of Dr. Elisa Aranda as the new principal for the Coach Wally Hartley PK-8 School. The district has recognized the new leader, who has been identified as one of the best in the region. Dr. Aranda, the previous principal of another campus in the district, has been recognized as the 2026 Region 19 TEPSAN of the Year by the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association for her dedication to the success of the student body. She has also expressed her excitement about the opportunity to further enhance the school’s success.
