Armando Cerna Elementary School kept its Best Elementary Schools award in 2025-26 school year. This solidified its standing as one of Eagle Pass ISD's two highest-achieving elementary schools. The school also remained active on DonorsChoose, with several classroom projects funded by teachers appearing in recent years. The 2025-26 school year for EPISD began with a board that has consistently put money into instructional resources and bilingual programs throughout the district.
