Ochoa Primary Science and Sports Academy’s young environmental champions have been recognized for their participation in a regional video conservation project on the restoration of the thorn forest. In this project, students were taught about the environmental problems that exist in our world today and created awareness about biodiversity. This is a demonstration of the school’s emphasis on hands-on science education, community service and the development of responsible citizens who appreciate the importance of the protection of their natural environments.
