The Paul L. Dunbar Learning Center has been featured lately following a major campus upgrade program that received community support in the year 2025. Currently, there is an ongoing upgrading project at the school's STEM Lab that will see the installation of improved learning environment, advanced furniture, and improved technologies aimed at improving practical science and technology learning for about 600 elementary learners. This is in line with the general programs being implemented by the Dallas ISD to ensure better learning environments within their high need campuses.

Ans. There are many enrichment programs for elementary children, ranging from academic clubs, reading programs, and occasionally incorporating arts into the lesson plans.

Ans. The campus is involved in literacy programs, attendance incentives, and early interventions programs offered by Dallas ISD in the district wide initiative.

Ans. Common methods for intervention include small group learning, reading recovery program, and target interventions in literacy and math.

Ans. A typical calendar is followed, similar to other elementary schools within the district, which includes an August to May academic year.
