Latest developments indicate that students from Haggar Elementary remain actively involved in academic as well as community events organized by Plano ISD. Recently, the organization has celebrated its success in student achievement programs and collaboration with programs aimed at developing literacy and leadership skills.

Ans. Yes, students have opportunities to take part in various PTA sponsored enrichment activities such as chess classes, drama, science, technology, engineering, math clubs as well as seasonally organized after-school programs.
Q2. What are some ways that parents can receive information regarding school happenings/announcements?
Ans. Parents can get updated information on all school events, meetings, and activities through school calendar, news letters and other district communication portals.
Q3. What are some volunteer opportunities for parents at the school?
Ans. There are opportunities for parent volunteers in helping with classroom activities, reading and writing fairs as well as other enrichment and campus events through the schools’ PTA and district efforts.
Q4. Is there any form of STEM enrichment opportunities in the school apart from regular class lessons?
Ans. Yes, children can enroll in projects such as coding, robotics as well as design clubs periodically arranged by external education providers.
Q5. How does one access the academic calendar and holidays calendar?
Ans. One can access the academic calendar with holidays on line through the scheduling process at school and district level.
